Probably cheaper than the ones found in the local pet store but substantially more stable. Seriously solid, but I'm sure I could improve if I had to build it again.

Of late I’ve been developing a really simple, open source time clock application capable of running on damn near any hardware.
The engineering guys in the office downstairs kindly had a box put together for an old laptop that would otherwise have been thrown out (it has faulty screen hinges).
The box may look DIY but it’s solid and secure. Here’s a quick image to get you started, expect a blog post in the coming weeks 🙂
